The Resurrection of Jake the Snake (2015)

Decided to see this doc after Watching the Jake the Snake episode of JRE.

The events are depicted without any artificial drama, the story documented is still hearth wrenching. If you haven’t seen it just go watch it no matter if you’re a WWE fan or not.

Fahrenheit 11/9 (2018)

Micheal Moore’s new film, is showing  a few pieces of the ‘Trump era’  and it’s consequences. Moore also shows that he is not glorifying Obama or Hilary (anymore – remember Michael Moore in TrumpLand ? ).  It presents many things that the mainstream media in the US or even Europe are not talking about – how Bernie got screwed by the DN*C,  Obama drinking koolaid in Flint. The ‘Trump dubbed Hitler’ and the ‘Hawaii false alarm emergency  broadcast’ are quite strong. All that served in typical for Michael Moore style.

Cam (2018)

A very well done  character driven thriller. The Main character is Cam girl, the writer was a Cam Girl, which explains why it doesn’t feel artificial or fake ( although the movie is fictional).  All characters are solid and don’t feel pointless. It is really a decent  piece of a thriller.

and if you don’t have enough listen to the podcast that hosted Isa Mazzei and Daniel Goldhaber:

…and if you still don’t have enough listen to this episode of ‘Switchblade Sisters’ podcast that may make you watch ‘Jennifer’s Body’ (again):

Tag [Riaru onigokko] (2015) Eureka!Entertainment

quite Bloody, and quite surreal,

probably requires a re-watch or 2 to get it all.

After 1 screening I can say, I don’t regret it, and received a lot of visual pleasure. The transitions between characters have been managed quite good.

All this on an Eureka!Video Blu-ray, need more extras!

Re:born (2016) Eureka!Entertainment

The fight sequences in this movie are great, however after watching about 1 hour of the film (or less) you get used to them and the movie does not surprise anymore.

Still worth a watch especially if you’re a fan of  “Versus” and similar flicks like that.

All this on a Eureka!video Blu-ray, with few  trailers and a ‘welcome’ from a part of the cast. Would be nice to have more extras on this one.

Capture Kill Release (2016) – Eureka!Entertainment

Quite original, for an ego-shooter-like  kinda of movie.

The main character is quite well casted (Jennifer Fraser), and not badly written.

All on an Eureka! DVD, that had few extra trailers,  unfiltered VHS sequences,  and a ‘location scouting video’.
