Pretty good cast, including Robert Vaughn as Dr Manteufel, and Donald Pleasence as a Nazi officer.
The movie starts quite promising, but then it goes into trash gradually.
Canon aimed for a Cannibal – Nazi – Indiana Jones – Revenge combo, but missed by a bit, if not by much.
To watch a revenge film concentrated around the little girl, that we get introduced to at the beginning of the film, would be quite cool, btw the actress that played her as an adult was quite “good”.
The monologues of M. Dudikoffs character are irritating and have some unintentional humor as well.
I might have seen it before, but not the ‘restored’ version.
Need to re-watch it with the commentary track.
Were swastikas allowed on a cover in the UK back then ?
Branded with Alistair MacLean’s name for more impact.
The new Patrick is not bad, but there is a lot to wish for.
He’s in a coma… …yet he can use the computer, hack phones and hijack cars.
Don’t know if it is the effect of the Cellphone towers, but Patrick’s telekinetic power has much wider range than the ones of 1978 Patrick.
All the new elements to the Patrick story are a quite disappointing.
Kudos to Jackson Gallagher for not blinking at all.
I hoped for much more, this unfortunately is only a “blow job for (the first) Patrick” film.
Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Quinn Mallory’s brother, Carmen Electra and a bunch of well-breasted women are trying to survive an encounter with an unusual shark.
Do not expect Great CGI, sophisticated dialogs and memorable characters. Not as many pairs of naked breasts as expected (less than 10).
If instead of the crappy CGI real machinery would have been used for all the scenes …
Now I want to see the 2011 short film. The full length feature is like the “Doomsday” but a bit funnier. Watching all this splatter is really entertaining, you will definitely adore Mary Death, especially when everything else will seem to not make sense at all.
