Detention… …of the Dead

Another zombie-ploitation flick. Will there ever come a moment when the genre will get overexploited?

The movie itself was not that bad, a zombie variation of the “Detention” with few classic-intestines eating scenes, not groundbreaking for the genre though.

However it’s still more interesting than the 4th season of The Walking Dead.

Bad day at Black Rock

Thank you Trailers From Hell for re-introducing me to this amazing film. There is a lat to be told about this movie, so let’s hear what D.I. has to tell about it:

Cobra Nero

A Fred William flick. Is every movie with him a blaxploitation movie ? I don’t think so. Two things about that movie that I like: the poster, the trailer.

Oh, and there is the car-accident-windshiled-flight scene at the end of the movie, so let’s make it 3.

The also have made 3 more followups to this movie.

BC01

Maniac

Have you seen the 1980’s Maniac movie ? The plot is really simple, a scalp-hunter-killer is on the run in NY and he won’t stop untill…

The movie teems with a lot of splatter, blood and gory scenes, all filmed in the well known grindhouse flicks’ style (this is actually a grindhouse flick). The contemporary filmmakers had decided to get inspired by this William Lustig’s masterpiece and have made a new “version” of it.  So lets get ready for more perverted, weird, bloody material that will come to the theaters soon. I can’t wait.
